Welcome to Autostadt, the Fascinating World of Volkswagen!
Spanning 28 hectares of park and lagoon landscapes, Autostadt seamlessly combines technology, nature, and culture into a unique experience. Beyond being one of the world’s largest delivery centers for new cars from the Volkswagen, SEAT, and CUPRA brands, it is also a themed and entertainment park covering over 40 hectares. The site boasts exhibitions, concerts, and events, serving as an extracurricular learning space and an automotive treasure trove for classic and vintage cars from more than 60 brands. Autostadt is a place where innovation comes to life, offering visitors the chance to experience the world of Volkswagen up close.
Approximately 1,000 employees are driving the transformation from SPX to plano WFM, with the first major milestone successfully achieved in November 2025. During this initial phase, a complete migration from SPX to plano Roster, plano Reporting, the plano interface, and the plano Service Line was accomplished. In short, the previously used software was upgraded to a modern and stable operational state. By 2026, the second phase is planned, during which additional installations such as the plano Optimizer and myplano will be introduced. These enhancements will refine Workforce Management even further, adding smart optimization and user services to make operations more flexible and efficient.
