The new plano 2025.2 release delivers focused improvements in stability, functionality and usability. In addition to technical enhancements, this version includes new features and adjustments that simplify installation and maintenance. Many of these changes are based on feedback from everyday use and were implemented with the goal of making the application even more reliable and user-friendly in day-to-day operations.

What’s New in Version 2025.2:

Communication: Direct, simple, efficient

plano 2025.2 delivers new features that make communication between employees and managers even more seamless – while simultaneously enhancing the responsive myplano app.
In addition to the new function to specify alternative time periods in holiday requests, email notifications have been added to the myplano feature set. This means employees can now receive email updates about actions related to their requests – for example, when additional information is needed or when a request is approved. With these improvements, plano 2025.2 ensures clear, streamlined communication with your employees – direct, simple, and efficient.

Employee-centered planning: Transparent and more inclusive

With the plano 2025.2 release, myplano now enables Self-Rostering. Employees can independently select and schedule their shifts, reducing the planning workload for managers while promoting greater involvement and autonomy within teams. This gives employees more transparency regarding their work data and scheduling processes – leading to increased engagement and satisfaction.

Closing the gaps: plano Roster enhancements familiar from the RichClient

We’re continuing our journey towards a unified product experience. With the plano 2025.2 release, we’re moving additional familiar RichClient functionalities into plano Roster.

With the update, alternating shift premium can now be configured, and the account booking dialog has been expanded. Within the schedule, employees can now be sorted by shifts per day and add shift-related comments directly via the context menu.
