Werner & Mertz is a fifth-generation family-owned company with well-known brands such as Frosch and Green Care Professional. When revising its shift model, Werner & Mertz took the opportunity to elevate staff planning as well: the goal was to make the established planning processes even more efficient, transparent, and user-friendly through an integrated, rule-based platform. The team wanted a future-proof solution that both ensures compliance and noticeably eases the day-to-day work of planners and employees.
They chose plano: plano Roster was implemented along with the plano interface to SAP, myplano, reporting, and integrations with TIS and Dispoplan. Central master data management and configurable rulesets ensure that requirements are enforced automatically and data remains consistent.
plano WFM helps us manage our workforce scheduling efficiently and flexibly. Mobile access from anywhere is a real added benefit for our employees. Thanks to continuous, needs-driven enhancements, the system stays close to everyday practice and remains reliable for the future.

Processes were consolidated, demand calculation was automated, and Dispoplan was integrated in a standardized way for the first time. Planners now save a lot of routine work, can work concurrently in the live system, and always keep staffing levels, skills, and availability in view.
For employees, the myplano app provides access to schedules, balances, and paperless time-off requests from any place at any time.
This gives Werner & Mertz a scalable foundation for a modern, employee-centered solution.
We look forward to continued collaboration.
