New Year's Greeting 2026
The new year is already in full swing, and I would like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself to you. On November 1, 2025, I took over the operational management of plano solutions gmbh, replacing my interim predecessor Olaf Kruse.
My name is Felix Weiß, and I was born in Thuringia. I spent the first part of my professional life in academia. Since 2013, I have held various management positions at different software companies in a range of industries. As a result, I am very familiar with both the world of startups and corporate environments.
There are many reasons why I joined plano. Right from the start, I was impressed by the people. I was welcomed with open arms and have rarely encountered such a motivated and friendly working environment. The strong focus on our customers and our products is omnipresent. The cooperation beyond the boundaries of plano
towards Interflex and Allegion is also characterized by constructiveness and customer orientation. Who wouldn’t want to work in such an environment?
In addition to these factors, plano’s actual field of activity also plays an important role for me. Workforce management is an exciting area that presents a common challenge across many industries. Precisely because the employees of every organization are a key success factor, workforce management must be more than just staff planning. A good solution increases people’s satisfaction, ensures efficiency, and creates transparency. These are precisely the ideas that drive me. Our products are already among the leading solutions in these areas, and I want to build on this success together with my teams. On the one hand, we will tackle existing challenges in product quality in a targeted manner. On the other hand, we will consistently focus on new trends in order to not only overcome current hurdles but also develop forward-looking solutions for tomorrow. It is important to me that we not only develop software for you but also work with you.
Communication with you, our customers, is essential for targeted and needs-oriented development. No one knows better than you, what matters to you. Our plano Campus from June 30 to July 2, 2026, is an excellent opportunity to discuss these topics, and I cordially invite you to attend!
